A Historic Setting

Located at St Nicholas Circle, Leicester LE1 4LB, Jewry Wall is one of the tallest surviving sections of Roman masonry in Britain. Dating back to around AD 160, this impressive wall was once part of a grand public building in the Roman town of Ratae Corieltauvorum.

Halloween Fun Awaits

During the half-term break, Jewry Wall Café transforms into a Halloween haven. Enjoy themed treats, warm beverages, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for families.

The Great Leicester Ghost Hunt

While you're here, don't miss The Great Leicester Ghost Hunt, running from 20th October to 2nd November. This free, family-friendly projection trail features eight mischievous ghosts brought to life across the city centre. Jewry Wall is one of the key locations, so be sure to stop by and see what spirits are lurking around the ruins. It's going to be exciting!

Use the My Leicester App to guide you to each location, with prompts to look closer, listen in and uncover the hidden histories behind these playful hauntings, or pick up a trail map from the Visit Leicester Information Centre.
