School Visits - Exhibition Only
On a self-led visit to the Jewry Wall Museum, a staff member will greet you at the entrance and provide an introduction to the site. Students and teachers will receive a trail to guide you through the exhibits, with various self-led activities available, such as a timeline and Roman costume dress-up.

Learning outcomes
During their visit, pupils will:
- Discover what life was like in Roman Leicester, including aspects such as food, clothing, bathing, social activities, housing, and other buildings in the Roman town.
- Learn how archaeologists uncover information about Roman Leicester through excavations and artefacts.
- Explore the multicultural aspects of Roman Leicester, including the origins and travels of its residents within the Roman Empire.

Travelling to us:
Our coach drop off point is 1 minute (28metres) from our front door. Many local schools choose to walk to us, to save on transport costs.
There are many public transport routes available for schools based in the City as well as those a little bit further away.
The nearest public bus stop to the Jewry Wall Museum is St Nicholas Circle, located only 1 minute walk (28 metres) away from our front door, with several routes stopping directly outside, including the 13, 18, 50, 51, 104, 148, 153, 158, PR1, PR2, ND, HH and the FREE circular Hop! city centre service.
The bus stops on Jubilee Square are only a 2-minute walk away and West Bridge is only a 3-minute walk.
