Mosaic Coaster Making — Sat 14 Feb to Sun 22 Feb

Get crafty with our Mosaic Coaster Making sessions! Perfect for families, friends or anyone feeling creative this half term, you can design and decorate your own unique coaster using colourful tiles and shapes including hearts for Valentine’s! Coasters are suitable for ages 3+ and make brilliant keepsakes or gifts. Sessions run at 11am and 2pm daily, and spaces are limited so we recommend booking ahead. £4 per person includes one coaster to make, with extras available on the day.

Family Drop-In Craft: Roman Soap Carving — Mon 16 Feb

On Monday 16 February, 10am–3pm, families are invited to drop in for a Roman-inspired craft activity! Using bars of soap, children and adults can carve their own Roman-style statue or votive, exploring historic art through hands-on creativity. This relaxed craft is included in your museum ticket price and is ideal for children aged 7+ with adult supervision. No booking needed, just drop in!

Valentine’s Afternoon Tea — Sat 14 Feb & Sun 15 Feb

Treat someone special (or yourself!) to a Valentine’s Afternoon Tea set against the dramatic backdrop of Leicester’s iconic Roman ruins. Available on Saturday 14 February (3pm) and Sunday 15 February (2pm), enjoy freshly baked scones, classic sandwiches, cakes and warming drinks in truly unique surroundings. Spaces are limited, so booking ahead is recommended, perfect for history lovers and romantics alike!
