July 2022: Jewry Wall Project Update

Provisional completion of the newly refurbished Jewry Wall Museum is scheduled for Summer 2024.

Work on the Museum roof has now been completed and the scaffolding is being removed.

 

The design and build for the exhibition is in progress and the plinths for the large Roman mosaics are being built.

 

Community engagement projects have also begun which will help Leicester residents understand more about the city’s Roman past. Some video footage of these Our Roman Leicester projects will be part of the final exhibition.
