Jewry Wall Museum Reopens Saturday 26th July!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Jewry Wall will officially reopen to the public on Saturday 26th July 2025 and we can’t wait to welcome you in!

Following an extensive redevelopment, the museum now offers an exciting, immersive journey through Roman Leicester. From ancient artefacts to interactive displays, visitors of all ages can explore the stories, people, and culture that shaped the city nearly 2,000 years ago, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Jewry Wall ruins, one of the tallest surviving pieces of Roman masonry in Britain.

Whether you're a lifelong history lover or discovering Leicester's Roman roots for the first time, the new museum experience brings the past to life in a fresh, engaging way.
